- AccessibilityHow this site works for every readerView
Built to include everyone
Health information only helps if everyone can use it
We built this site to work for every reader, including people who use screen readers, people who navigate by keyboard, and people reading on an older phone with a weak signal. That is part of our job under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and part of what public health means.
Read our accessibility statement, or tell us when something does not work and we will fix it.
- Every chart is also a table you can read or download
- Everything works with a keyboard alone
- Numbers are visible on screen, not hidden behind hover states
- Nothing depends on color alone, and reduced motion is respected
- Every page works on a phone, because that is where most people will read it

Our commitments
- Privacy first
Counts under 11 are shown as "< 11" to protect privacy. Health data carries stricter small-number rules than most public data, because a diagnosis is among the most personal facts there is.
- Honest about limits
When a number rests on only a few cases, we say so. A rate marked as unstable can jump around by chance.
- Always current
Every chart shows how often its data updates and the date it is current through.
- Plain language
Health words like “age-adjusted” get a plain explanation right next to the chart. No jargon without a translation.
The Caldwell County Health Department publishes this data as part of its duty to protect and inform the public, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Questions about this data? Contact Epidemiology & Data Services.
